GlassPoint was founded in May 2008 to develop solar
thermal equipment to provide industrial process heat to the drywall
manufacturing industry.
Originally called CleanBoard, the company changed its name to GlassPoint
in September 2009 to reflect its expansion into providing solar
industrial process heat generating equipment for a wide range of
industries including enhanced oil recovery, municipal waste water
treatment and electrical power generation.
GlassPoint is the only company that sells solar
equipment that produces industrial process heat at a lower cost than
heat produced by burning natural gas.
